Alana and Alyssa

Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who has left a lasting impression on the small screen. Her parents are Mexican-American and Irish-American. Her birthplace was in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26 the 26th of December, 1976. De La Garza emigrated shortly to Texas to study the field of physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas just a few months before she moved into Orlando Florida. She took part in a wide range of roles in acting, such as local independent movies and commercials. Despite the small parts, she realized that acting was her interest. She relocated to New York. Her first role was on the soap-opera All My Children. Through the early part of 2000, she acted small roles in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was cast in her debut series role in The Mountain which was the short-lived drama on television. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to share the screen with some famous TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. In 2006 she was also cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress appeared on the show 85 times. The character later re-entered the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. The character she played earned De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. In 2008, she won the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza got a recurring part in CSI Miami a few moments after. She was cast as Marisol Delko, the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. She was the character Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dramatic dark series Do No Harm. The show was ended after just two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has a younger sister Cory and is Italian by descent. Her family was a conservative, religious family. Milano started her acting profession at the age of seven, when her babysitter took her along on an audition for acting. From more than 1,000 candidates her name was picked as one of just four. Milano was featured in commercials for TV and off Broadway shows, like the American first musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
